As a philosophy, chiropractic recognizes that the body is self-healing, self-regulating and has a natural ability to express its health potential to the fullest.
As a science, chiropractic deals with the relationship between the musculoskeletal system and the nerve system, and the effect this relationship has on the body’s innate ability to maintain or return to, good health.
As an art, chiropractic entails knowledge, skill and dexterity to locate and correct subluxations that can rob the body of the ability to maintain its own health.
“We originally came to Andover Spine and Health for my daughter. She had a wrist injury that was not getting relief from cortisone shots, splints or medicine. After a few weeks of adjustments to the wrist, my daughter was getting relief and more importantly, getting support from Dr. Jamie. After I saw what he could do for my daughter, I asked if he could help my toe (from running). He was able to bring me relief from the first adjustment!! I especially LOVE the support and friendship I have been able to build with Dr. Jamie. He takes the time to get to know you and he remembers you from your last visit and picks up right where you left off. "
“Before I went to his office, Dr. Stinemetz was just another doctor. I had been seeing surgeons, therapists and having different, pointless treatments for an injury nobody could seem to understand. After just one visit we had more of an understanding of my injury than we had had in six months. Doctor Stinemetz is by far one of the best decisions we made. He knows how to keep you aligned and keep the pain away, while being friendly and talking.”
“While running cross county in high school I had pain in my upper leg. I ran through the pain but I continued to have problems running. I decided to see a doctor about my pain and they told me my hip bone was rubbing against my leg bone causing pain. That doctor suggested that I have surgery and shave part of my leg bone so it wouldn’t rub as I ran, but I would have to wait for surgery until I had finished growing. Eventually I saw Dr. Stinemetz and told him my problem. He told me my hips were just out of alignment. After only a few visits I was back into running and finished my first half marathon!”
